SNOMO DAYS IS GOING AHEAD CHECK EACH EVENT FOR SOME CHANGES
SnoMo Days is an Alberta Winter Festival, dedicated to supporting motorized and non-motorized winter sports and family orientated winter leisure activities. We will again be raffling off Helicopter rides 2 rides with 4 people per ride starting at $100.00 per person.
The rides will take place on Feb 18, 2024 during snomo days 2024. Help support this wonderful cause.

Message from the Alberta Beach & DISTRICT Lions Club President

The upcoming annual SnoMo days event will be held on February 17-19, 2024. This event is the Alberta Beach & District Lions clubs annual fundraiser for charity. Every year the Lions club receives 15-20 requests for donations to help cover cost in running that groups program. The funds we raise through sponsorship partially pays for the costs of this event, to sustain this event we need to charge a gate admission, as without this we could not continue with this event.

This will mark our 44th anniversary, 44 years of excitement, adventure and entertainment that is full of family activities that will bring smiles and joy to all. SnoMo Days has transformed from a snowmobile event to a full weekend of family activities.

Snowmobiles are still a big focus however with the addition of an ATV rally, broom ball, over the line softball, ice breaker party, pony rides, food vendors and many children events it truly has become a weekend for the whole family to enjoy. It is great to have so many community groups helping out LSA Army Cadets, 50+ Club, LSA ATV Club, Alberta Beach Snowmobile Club, Alberta Relic Riders. Each group volunteers countless hours to make their activities a great success. Remember to stop by the freeze hunger site and donate to the Lion's Christmas Hamper Program.

We would also like to add a big thank you to our Title sponsor- Travel Alberta and all our other sponsors, which includes the Village of Alberta Beach for all their assistance with this event. It is through advertising that we are able to fund some of the costs. A successful event has funds raised by the Lions and are donated back to the community. The Lions are always looking for your help, either as a volunteer for a few hours or, as a sponsor. This event requires both to continue to be the great success that it has been in the past.
